Canarsie Community Development, Inc. (CCDI) is dedicated to strengthening and uniting block and resident associations throughout Canarsie. Our mission is to create a unified voice that effectively advocates for community needs while working collaboratively with elected officials and city, state, and municipal agencies.


We promote and support community development initiatives that enhance environmental sustainability, neighborhood safety, civic engagement, and overall quality of life in Canarsie—both financially and administratively.

Canarsie Community Development, Inc. (CCDI) is grassroots, community-based organization focused on addressing critical issues facing the Canarsie community. By bringing together block associations, residents, local businesses, and public partners, CCDI works to create sustainable solutions to flooding, illegal dumping, infrastructure challenges, and environmental concerns.


Our goal is to empower residents, protect neighborhood assets, and ensure Canarsie continues to thrive for future generations.
